Photos prints are Durst Lambda C Prints on Kodak Endura paper. They are very high quality prints whose rendering, sharpness and contrast are optimal in colour as well as in black and white. Durst Lambda technology is used for the most prestigious exhibitions.
Our photos are all limited editions, et numbered and signed by the photographers themselves.
For the graphic arts, we use diffrents techniques : Serigraphy, Lithography or Ink jet on Museum Arches paper which has a very special touch and thickness well adapted to restitute the graphical sensations. In this latter technique, we use Epson Ultrachrome Ink which allows a high quality print which stays great no matter the lighting conditions. Due to its excellent stability of colours and durability, these prints last perfect for decades.
Printings are backed on Dibond aluminium. This material is of the highest quality, very durable and unobtrusive. It allows you to hang the photos directly on the wall. The Dibond® is a composite material made of 2 aluminium sheets with a thin polyester sheets in between the two which allow a greater strength and rigidity as well as lasting longer.
Prints are all delivered with a small attachment for smallest ones or a complete chassis in the back of the photo for the largest ones.
The special treatment is used for photographic prints where the print is stuck on a aluminium sheet and a acrylic glass sheet is placed over the print which gives an outstanding luminosity to the print.
L'Œil Ouvert offers a range of metal frames or wooden frames in various different sizes. They all come with a fitted ivory background mat that highlights perfectly your photos. We can also provide with a price quote for any specific request. Please send us your requests at: firstname.lastname@example.org
American frames in black or white will highlight your printings. The print is glued on an aluminium plate and placed in a frame without any glass or background mat. American frames give your prints space and modernity thanks to a gap of 10mm between the frame and the photo. American frames are available in formats of 30x45cm or 40x40cm and above.
